Acrylic Materialization

Final painting of the semester! Painting you say?! Well sort of 😂 
My teacher allowed me to experiement to the max with this! It was a Mixed Media project where you took two types of art mediums and put them into one piece. Well I mixed Acrylic Paint and 3D Rendering! 
I painted each of the 9 materials in this scene by hand. Each material had 4 types of textures with them that were each hand painted on a 4”/4” piece of watercolor paper. This included the Base Color, Bump, Roughness, and Height Maps. Once painted, I scanned them into my computer and rendered them in a 3D scene made in blender. I then printed it on canvas and stretched it just like an actual painting!
This is one of the most exciting projects I’ve ever been able to do for college and I’m very pleased with how it ended up.
